We will decide on which color and solution to use. Once applied, you will need to leave it on your skin for a few hours before rinsing. With Express, you can rinse in 1-4 hours after your appointment. 

You are welcome to wear as little or as much as you are comfortable with during your session. Please keep tan lines in mind. Once sprayed, tan lines cannot be filled in or blended.

 You will be guided through a series of quick, easy postures during the spraying process. You will then spend a few minutes in front of the fan to dry. 

Tanning sessions typically take 15-20 min. Post session, you will need to refrain from getting wet or sweating until your first rinse. Your tan will be fully developed about 24 hours after your session. 

With proper maintenance, an Southern Skin Spray Tan can last 7-10 days. For best results, moisturize everyday with mineral oil free lotions and sunscreens. 

 If you are a fitness competitor spray tanning for a competition, please call to pricing and to make arrangements. 

We use all natural solutions filled with vitamins to help nourish and enrich your skin. They are paraben free, never tested on animals and made in the USA. 

If you need to cancel or make a change, please do so 24 hours before your scheduled time. Reservations cancelled less than 24 hours in advance 1 day prior will be charged 25% and same day and no-show appointments will be subject to a 50% fee of the original price of services booked. 

Failing to provide enough notice prevents the clients on our waiting list the opportunity to receive services.

It is best to make your appointment in advance so that you are well prepared. All services are by appointment only.

If you have a special event you are tanning for, it is recommended to schedule your appointment 1-2 days before your event.

For best results, please shower, shave and exfoliate the night before. 

Exfoliating is very important because it will make the tan last longer. Use an oil free scrub or bath mitts with a mild shower gel and avoid Dove products and bar soap. If you are washing your hair, do this before exfoliating. 

Moisturize with a lotion after showering, no oils. Hydrated healthy skin is key for sunless tanning.

If you must shower the day of your appointment, use only a mild shower gel and do not apply deodorant after. It is ok to lightly moisturize with a lotion if it is at least 4 hours before your spray tan session. 

Any waxing and eyelash extensions need to be completed 1-2 days before your appointment.

Manicures / pedicures should be completed before your session. Soaking hands and feet in water afterwards will diminish the tan.

Hair appointments should be completed before your session or after you rinse.

Wear dark, loose fitting clothes to the appointment to put on immediately after your session. Tight clothing can rub or smear bronzers, especially around the knees, elbows, chest and waist. Flip flops are best.

It is important to notify us if you are or think you are pregnant. Although our solutions are paraben free and non toxic, SB Tanning will not give you a spray tan unless you have a note from your doctor. 

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and are required to keep undergarments on.

Your tan will continue to darken over the next 24 hours. 

If you are getting the Standard Tan, we suggest waiting at least 12 hours before rinsing. 

If you are getting an Express Tan, be sure to rinse in 1-4 hours. 

Do not exceed 4 hours.

During your first rinse, you will see a lot of color come off, this is just the instant bronzers. You will see excellent results!

When showering regularly, use only a mild shower gel and apply with your hands. 

Do not use scrubs, shower poufs, bar soaps or Dove products as these will strip away your sunless color. 

Pat dry your skin after. 

After showering, moisturize daily with a basic mineral oil free body lotion. Coconut oil also works well. Hydrated healthy skin retains the tan longer. 

If you are planning on working out or going to the gym, do this after your first rinse. If you are sleeping in your freshly sprayed tan, wear long loose-fitting clothes to sleep to avoid touching your tan and waking up with tan hands.

Bronzer may rub off on fabrics. Most fabrics will wash completely clean, but bronzer can stain silk, nylon, wool and leather. If you're worried about your furniture, please put a towel down before you sit - until you rinse off the bronzer.
